Thanks to the UL 1007 PVC insulation and solid core, these wires are highly flexible, easy to strip, and solder well. They are well-suited for applications where the wire will be flexed, such as in test cables. Solid core hook-up wires are perfect for wiring circuits on a breadboard or protoboard, where movement is minimal, as they are easier to push into a breadboard and plated through holes of a printed circuit board.

The wires feature tinned copper cores, which protect them from corrosion and make them easier to solder. They offer superior conductivity with super-low impedance. The available wire gauges and their specifications are as follows:

The uniform PVC insulation makes the wires easy to strip and cut, while providing high flexibility, resistance to acids, oils, alkalies, moisture, and good abrasion resistance. The wires are rated for temperatures from -40°C to 80°C and 300V.
